Report on Arctic narratives published

UAF School of Management instructor Troy Bouffard announced the publication of a report titled “Arctic Narratives and Political Values: Arctic States, China and NATO” by the NATO Strategic Communications Centre of Excellence. Bouffard, who is an instructor for SOM’s homeland security and emergency management program, served as content editor for the report. The project analyzed the highest-level narratives of the eight Arctic nations, as well as China and NATO, under a structured framework.

Bouffard began working with the center following a brief visit to Riga, Latvia, while on a vacation trip in Stockholm, Sweden. He also contributed to an earlier report, “Arctic Narratives and Political Values: Russia, China and Canada in the High North,” which was published in September of 2018.
