Research and Creative Activity Day is canceled

After much discussion over the past week, the Office of Undergraduate Research and
Scholarly Activity, or URSA, has decided to cancel UAF Research and Creative Activity
Day, which was scheduled for Tuesday, April 7.
This was not an easy decision given all of the hard work that our undergraduate students
and their mentors have put into their projects over this past academic year. While
this annual showcase of research and creative endeavors that our undergraduate students
and their mentors have been involved in has always been one of the highlights of each
academic year, circumstances associated with COVID-19 and the health of our students,
staff, faculty, administration and guests preempt such a gathering.
We know that this is likely a disappointing decision for many of you, and we appreciate
your understanding. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact URSA
