Rev It Up moves students in Aug. 22

The Rev It Up move-in event will welcome new students to the Fairbanks campus Wednesday,
Aug. 22, from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Rev It Up, held in the Moore-Bartlett-Skarland housing
complex, is a one-stop shop for information students will need for life at UAF.
This year students will be able to check into their rooms and meet with people from
the following campus offices: Academic Advising Center, Office of Admissions, UAF
Bookstore, Dining Services, Financial Aid, Office of Information Technology, Nanook
Recreation, Nanook Traditions, New Student Orientation, Parking Services, PolarExpress, UAF postal services, Rural Student Services, Student Health and Counseling Center, Student
Leadership and Involvement, and the Office of Sustainability.
Residence Life staff will meet students in the MBS parking lot, and with the help
of volunteers will unload and deliver luggage to rooms, during which time students
can meet with various departments waiting to welcome them to their new home away from
home!
