Robert Coker wins best invention disclosure award

Institute of Arctic Biology faculty member Robert "Trey" Coker won the 2019 Nanook
Award for the Best UAF Invention Disclosure. Coker developed MyoEon 1 - Complete Nutrition
for Ideal Body Composition, Functional Capacity and Metabolic Health with funding
from a National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases grant in partnership
with Essential Blends, LLC. MyoEon 1 is a meal replacement that provides free form,
vegan-sourced amino acids to protect muscle during weight loss, even in the elderly.
