Rosemary Madnick to chair meeting of university research administrators

Rosemary Madnick, executive director of the Office of Grants and Contracts Administration, is the incoming president and chair of the National Council of University Research Administrators' 62nd annual meeting. This year’s annual meeting, themed "The Power Of You," is being hosted Aug. 11-14, and is projected to bring together nearly 1,800 research administrators from around the globe, virtually, after hosting this conference in person for 61 years in Washington, D.C.

Madnick, a member since 19998 of the 7,500+ member nonprofit higher-education association, has served in a number of roles. In addition to her position with the annual meeting, she has served as a co-chair on the Pre-Award Research Administration Conference, has presented on the national and regional level, served on various committees, and was selected for the 2013 Executive Leadership Program and the 2008 Leadership Development Institute.
