Volunteers who sample freeze-dried salmon Oct. 15 - 17 at the University of Alaska Fairbanks may be supporting future space missions.

At least 150 volunteers are needed for taste tests from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Wood Center conference rooms C and D.

The Kodiak Seafood and Marine Science Center is conducting research on salmon as a source of omega-3 fatty acids to support space crew health. The Alaska Space Grant Program is supporting the research.
