Scholarship application period opens

The 2015-2016 scholarship application period is now open on UAOnline. Submit the application before Feb. 15 to apply for 500 UAF scholarships.

Three workshops will provide assistance with the application and the essay:

• Writing a Scholarship Essay, Thursday, Nov. 13, 1:05 p.m. in Gruening 402.


• Applying for Scholarships, Thursday, Nov. 21, 1:05 p.m. in Gruening 402.


• Writing a Scholarship Essay, Wednesday, Dec. 3, 6 p.m. at UAF Community and Technical College's downtown center, 604 Barnette St.

Sessions are free, and no registration is required.
