Seeking volunteers for student academy

The Center for Student Engagement is seeking volunteers to help implement the Virgie
Dunlap King Academy for Social Change.
Through this institute, students will learn leadership skills and participate in community service opportunities.
They will also undertake a large-scale project that aims to effect sustainable change
at UAF or in the greater Fairbanks community.
Completion of the VDK Academy allows students to graduate with Leadership Honors or
Leadership Distinction recognition. The program is a semester long and meets twice a month.
