SFOS researchers contribute to award-winning book

Life in the World’s Ocean: Diversity, Distribution, and Abundance
, a book published by the Census of Marine Life which has has won two national awards,
features two chapters written by
School of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences researchers. Katrin Iken, Brenda Konar and Ann Knowlton wrote one chapter and Rolf
Gradinger, Bodil Bluhm and Russ Hopcroft wrote another. The book, edited by Alasdair
McIntyre, won two American Publishers Awards for Professional and Scholarly Excellence
(PROSE) awards, one for excellence in physical sciences and mathematics and one for
excellence in earth sciences.
