Ski Hut closed for renovations

The UAF Ski Hut will be closed for renovations. Contractors will begin work on Monday,
May 27, and are expected to wrap up the work by Sunday, June 30.
The Ski Hut on West Ridge was built with funds from the Fairbanks Kiwanis and Lions
Clubs. Community members and avid skiers Kent Karns and Rick Solie were said to have
organized a large work party to build it in the late 1970s.
