Wheat as an Alaska cash crop

Professor Mingchu Zhang with UAF's School of Natural Resources and Agricultural Sciences samples mature wheat from a small plot grown at the experiment farm on campus to study its potential as an Alaska cash crop.
The Department of High Latitude Agriculture within SNRAS provides statewide education, research and outreach in agriculture, soils, revegetation and bioremediation through the Fairbanks and Palmer research centers.
