Snedden guest lecture features Sandra Dolbee

Freelance journalist Sandra Dolbee will give a free public lecture, "American Idols: Obama, Romney and Simon Cowell," at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 14, in the Morris Thompson Cultural and Visitors Center auditorium.

Dolbee comes to UAF as the Journalism Department's Snedden lecturer after serving as the religion and ethics editor at the San Diego Union-Tribune. She’s the recipient of several national journalism awards, including honors from the Society of Professional Journalists and the Association of Sunday and Feature Editors.
