Sponsor a student volunteer over spring break

Staff and faculty will have an opportunity to be a part of the UAF Alternative Spring Break volunteer experience this year by sponsoring one of the team members. In return for your sponsorship,
you'll receive updates about your student’s experience in Moab, photos of them in
action, and dinner with your student and the entire team after we complete our week
of service. If you choose to donate, you will have a direct and lasting impact on
the students and the communities they will work with.
In addition, there will be an Alternative Spring Break Team spaghetti feed at the
Fairbanks Curling Club before the Governor's Cup Game, Feb. 25 from 5-9 p.m. Tickets
for the fundraiser are $10 and can be purchased in advance or at the door.
The team will host a silent auction March 8t in the Wood Center and is looking for
items to be donated. Some items that have been auctioned at UAF in the past include
gift baskets, food items, handcrafted items, art and holiday decor.
