Staff Recognition and Development Day events, prizes

Registration is still open for the 2018 Staff Recognition and Development Day on Wednesday,
May 9. Participants can sign up for classes and register for lunch and the ice cream social.
The day begins at 8 a.m. in Wood Center, followed by the 8:45 a.m. keynote address
by Yatibaey Evans, director of the Alaska Native Education Program at the Fairbanks
North Star Borough School District. The chancellor's welcome and the longevity awards
presentation is at 9:30 a.m. Three one-hour-long sessions of personal and professional
development are at 10:45, 1:30 and 2:45. Lunch is offered at noon in Wood Center,
and the day ends with an ice cream social in the Engineering and Learning Innovation
Facility.
