State house, governor forums in October

ASUAF will host two public forums this fall that feature candidates for State House
District 4 and for the governor's office.The District 4 will be held Wednesday, Oct. 10, from 5-6:30 p.m. in the Wood Center multilevel lounge. Come and hear what Grier Hopkins (D), Tim Lamkin (NP) and Jim Sackett (R) have to say about issues that the citizens of State House District 4 are facing.
The gubernatorial forum will be Wednesday, Oct. 24, from 4-5:30 p.m. in Schaible Auditorium, and will focus on education and the economy. Come out to ask questions and hear Bill Walker (I) and Mark Begich (D) talk to students, faculty and the Fairbanks community.
