Strategic enrollment planning update

February 28, 2019

University Relations

The strategic enrollment planning process made substantial progress when the leadership team and steering committees met Feb. 13-14. The meetings focused on reviewing action plans looking at the following strategies:

  • financial aid leveraging

  • website/digital media

  • academic program marketing

  • eCampus

  • fee structure

  • transitions between degrees

Most of the plans will be revised based on feedback from the committee. The next meeting in March will review the revised action plans and evaluate the next round of action plans submitted in the following categories:

  • Student success

  • Military

  • Honors

  • Outside Alaska

  • Community campuses

  • Increasing diversity

  • Pathway stacking

SEP is the universitywide planning process to increase enrollment at UAF. It is overseen by Mary Kreta, associate vice chancellor for enrollment management. The February meeting was the fourth in a series of six; overviews of the first four meetings are available at https://uaf.edu/sep/updates.php.
