President Johnsen to hold Strategic Pathways meetings

Chancellor Dana Thomas and President Jim Johnsen will meet April 4-5 with campus groups
who have participated in or who may be affected by options in Strategic Pathways Phase II discussions. The meetings will be open to all. Seating is somewhat limited.
President Johnsen discussed the full range of options and your feedback with the UA
Board of Regents at its last meeting. In the areas where there was broad consensus
for one option, President Johnsen plans to present a final recommendation to the regents
in June. In other areas, recommendations are expected to be presented to the board
in the fall. The presentation to the board is available at http://alaska.edu/pathways/.
The meetings will be held in the Globe Room of the Elvey Building unless otherwise
indicated and are scheduled by topic as follows:
April 4
- 8:30-9:15 a.m. — Institutional research
- 9:30-10:15 a.m. — Student services
- 10:30 -11:15 a.m. — Human resources
- 11:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m. — University relations
April 5
- 9:30-10:15 a.m. — Fisheries
- 10:30-11:15 a.m. — eLearning
- 11:45 a.m.-1 p.m. — Community campuses and health programs, at Community and Technical College Room 119
