Student employees remove bird vetch

Office of Sustainability student workers began removing bird vetch on the UAF campus. This will be a summer-long
program with the goal of making UAF an invasive plant-free campus. Invasive plants
have many characteristics that allow them to dominate native vegetation. They grow
rapidly, mature early and are able to reproduce both sexually and vegetatively.
