Student PSA competition on safe driving

UAF students can compete in a public service announcement competition by submitting
an original video 20- to 30-seconds-long, a series of five tweets or Instagram posts,
and one poster on preventing roadway departure crashes in the Pacific Northwest to
earn as much as $750.
The competition is open to college students attending Oregon State University, University
of Idaho, University of Washington, Washington State University and UAF. Entries must
be submitted here by Oct. 21, 2016.
Winning entries will be selected on the basis of creativity, originality, fulfillment
of competition guidelines and expression of the competition theme.
The purpose of the competition is to raise awareness of drivers in the Pacific Northwest
about the risks of roadway departure crashes and how their behavior can help reduce
how often they happen.
