Student wins SPJ award

UAF history major Jeremia Schrock won two awards from the Society of Professional Journalists. Schrock won first place in the category of online sports reporting in the 2010 Region 10 SPJ Mark of Excellence Awards, and third place in the national SPJ competition for the same story. Both awards were for an article titled "Tracking the 200" that Schrock wrote for the Sun Star, the UAF student newspaper.
