Students2Startups expanded paid internships for this summer

April 8, 2020

University Relations

Things have changed fast out there, and the Center for Innovation, Commercialization and Entrepreneurship is inviting UA students who may have had their plans change to explore a different path this summer centered around learning value-generating skills while reinforcing your ability to be resilient and adaptable to an ever-changing world. It’s really “game on” time for startups and Center ICE has funding and resources to help you explore this less trodden path, hopefully activating your inner innovator and entrepreneurial instincts while pairing you with companies or startups that are rapidly adjusting to the new normal.

Center ICE is expanding its 2020 Students2Startups paid intern program — running socially distanced over the summer! There will be an intro session with all the latest info open to all this coming Saturday, April 11, from 11 a.m.-noon hosted on Zoom. The program manager and staff members will be presenting the opportunity and application process for students, as well as answering questions you may have. Startups are also welcome to join the call.

If you can’t make the Zoom call, reach out Nigel Sharp at centerice@alaska.edu for access to a recording of the meeting.
