Study away fair for students

UAF offers hundreds of national and international exchange, study abroad, and international internship opportunities all over the US and the world. These are all opportunities to study away.

Join us nest week at the Wood Center Mall for our Fall 2012 Study Away Fair to learn more Monday, Feb. 11 from 9 a.m.– 4 p.m. and Tuesday, Feb. 12  from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Representatives from our study abroad program providers, UAF International Programs & Initiatives staff, and exchange, study abroad, and NSE students will be available to answer any questions you have.

You can earn UAF academic credit while you're away, which may apply to your degree program. From a few weeks in the summer to a semester or two, or more, you'll find a program that works for you. You can even go on more than one program, both nationally and abroad. While some programs do have foreign language requirements, many others are taught in English and/or offer beginning-level language courses as well. Costs depend on the program and location, but you can use most financial aid on program costs, and there are lots of scholarships available as well.
