Study-away students can earn UAF academic credit that may apply to their degree program. We’ll help you find your ideal program, from a few weeks in the summer to a semester or two (or more!). You can even go on more than one exchange, both nationally and internationally! While some programs do have foreign language requirements, many others are taught in English, offer beginning-level language courses or provide both options. UAF financial aid, student loans, scholarships and grants can help cover your study away expenses. Alaska Performance Scholarship and UA Scholar recipients receive awards as normal on any study away program.

Stop by and find an opportunity to expand your education!

The events are sponsored by the Office of International Programs and Initiatives. For more information email Nicole Balazs at uaf-studyaway@alaska.edu.
