Sun Star receives three SPJ awards

UAF students received the three awards in the 2010 Region 10 Society for Professional
Journalists Mark of Excellence Awards for their work which appeared in the UAF Sun Star student newspaper.
- Second Place - Online In-Depth Reporting - Kelsey Gobroski for "Havoc in the herd extended coverage"
- Second Place - Best Affiliated Website - Jeremy Smith for The Sun Star Online
- Third Place - Feature Writing - Heather Bryant for "Student airman uses Skype to attend class"
