Supervising for Success training series to begin

A new training series on effective employee management and supervisor responsibilities from UA Human Resources begins in November. Other topics include  an overview of policies and regulations, workplace safety and accommodation, basic compensation, recruitment and retention, conflict resolution, performance management, and professional development.


There are three modules, each scheduled for one and a half hours.

Completed training will be recorded in the attendee’s myUA employee services dashboard training record. For more information and to sign up for each module please follow the links below. The modules will be offered virtually by Zoom, which also includes a call-in option for those with limited internet connectivity.

Please sign up no later than two days before the selected training date so we can make sure everyone has the training information and materials.

Module 1

  • Wednesday, Nov. 11, 9:30-11 a.m.

  • Monday, Nov. 16, 9:30-11 a.m.

  • Thursday, Nov. 19, 1:30-3 p.m.


Module 2

  • Wednesday, Dec. 2, 9:30-11 a.m.

  • Thursday, Dec. 10, 1:30-3 p.m.

  • Tuesday, Dec. 15, 9:30-11 a.m.


Module 3

  • Thursday, Jan. 14, 2021, 1:30-3 p.m.

  • Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2021, 1:30-3 p.m.

  • Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2021, 1:30-3 p.m.

The original announcement stated that recordings of these training modules would be available in January 2021. Recordings will not be available until later this spring.
