UAF graduate Samantha Feemster will give a presentation on her time with the Samos Community Volunteer Center, a refugee camp in Greece, on Thursday, Jan. 16, at 1 p.m. in Arctic Java.

Feemster spent three months with the camp, teaching classes on English and art, helping clean the camp's single toilet, and assisting those living in the makeshift tent city.

This event is sponsored by the Nanook Diversity and Action Center. For more information, email uaf-ndac@alaska.edu.
