#MeToo founder Tarana Burke at UAF

Tarana Burke, founder of the #MeToo movement and a social justice activist, will give a presentation Friday, April 6, from 6-8 p.m. in Schaible Auditorium. The event will be followed by a Q&A. The #MeToo hashtag campaign went viral on social media in late 2017, drawing attention to sexual assault and harassment.

Tickets are free but are required for admission. UAF students and employees can get tickets with their PolarExpress card now. Tickets will be available to the public beginning Monday, April 2. Tickets are available at the Wood Center front desk Monday-Friday, 7 a.m.-10 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m.-10 p.m., and Sunday noon-8 p.m.
