Teaching Tip: Microblogging in education

As a follow up to the recent Teaching Tip on Blogging, the Center for Distance Education
instructor online training course examines what a microblog is, how you may use it
in your classroom, and focuses on two microblogging platforms: Tumblr and Twitter.
If you are interested in learning more about blogging or believe it's time to start
blogging, consider using a microblog to get started. You’ll find that both of the
tools shown are easy to learn. Twitter, in particular, can be a great research tool
for current items.
