Teaching Tip: Release content when students are ready
May 27, 2016
Use the Blackboard Adaptive Release feature to assure students can perform well before
introducing your next topic. Based on criteria you define, content can be released
step-by-step so students may build upon their knowledge, perform at a certain level
and then move on.
For example, you could require students to check a box agreeing that they had reviewed
required material and received an acceptable score on a quiz in order to see the next
module. Other examples include providing remedial material to students who receive
a low score or giving a more challenging final project to high-achieving students.
