Instructor presence is an essential element of an online course and helps bridge the
technology gap and disconnect felt by students in e-learning. One method of being
present in your distance course is to use screencasts for presenting your lecture
and other course materials. You can also use screencasts to provide your lecture material
in a face-to-face class.
