Teaching Tips Live: How to put field research in the classroom

February 10, 2015

Do you have outdoor research you’d like to incorporate into your class? Google Hangouts and Hangouts On Air are handy tools, providing context to data and insight into field methods. UAF eLearning will be using some of these tools to show how improvements in wireless bandwidth capacity and the latest mobile devices enable real-time observation of field research with students. Additionally, this broadcast will be outdoors to demonstrate the potential of the 21st-century classroom.

Join the conversation (from anywhere) this Thursday, Feb. 12, at 1 p.m. by clicking this link and navigating to the session: http://elearning.uaf.edu/go/ttl-field-research. Bring your inquisitive mind and questions.

This is the first Teaching Tips Live session of the spring 2015 semester. Plan to join us again for the following sessions, and explore more about Teaching Tips Live here: http://elearning.uaf.edu/go/ttl
