Town hall planned on academic recommendations

March 25, 2020

Jeff Richardson

A virtual town hall to update the UA community on the process going forward for expedited academic review recommendations will be held from 6-7 p.m. on Thursday, March 26.

Recommendations on program eliminations or suspensions have been submitted by Chancellors Caulfield, Sandeen and White to President Jim Johnsen.

President Johnsen, along with Vice President of Academics, Students and Research Paul Layer, and Chief Human Resources Officer Steve Patin will be available to discuss the process moving forward and answer questions from students, faculty and staff about the recommendations. You can submit questions via a Google form in advance or live during the event. The link to that question form, the livestream of the town hall, and additional options to provide feedback can be found on the system Expedited Review website. Alternatively you can listen via audio only by calling toll-free 866-832-7806 PIN 4590183.

This will be the first of several virtual community sessions to engage the UA community, address questions and gather input about this important process.
