Travel writer and essayist Lawrence Millman will give a free public reading Friday, Sept. 9, at 7 p.m. in the Wood Center Ballroom on the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus.
Millman’s books include “Last Places,” “A Kayak Full of Ghosts,” and “Lost in the Arctic.”
Millman’s reading kicks off the 2011-2012 Midnight Sun Visiting Writers Series, sponsored by the UAF English Department.
