Two vice chancellors to join governor's cabinet

Gov.-elect Bill Walker's staff named Vice Chancellor Pat Pitney the next director of the Office of Management and Budget. Pitney has been with UAF since 2008. Prior to her current position, Pitney spent 18 years with the University of Alaska system office, most recently as vice president for planning and budget.

Walker, on Nov. 22, named Vice Chancellor Mark Myers as the state’s natural resources commissioner. Myers has been vice chancellor for research at UAF since 2011. Myers will begin work in January.
