UA Board of Regents full board meeting Jan. 15

The University of Alaska Board of Regents will hold a full board meeting Friday, Jan. 15, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The meeting, with the exception of any executive sessions, will be livestreamed.
The meeting agenda includes leadership reports, advocacy efforts, information on the system office structure, roles and budget, an update from President Pitney on an initiative to address the success of Alaska Native and Indigenous students, faculty and staff, and the status of the UAA chancellor search. The board also will be briefed on a report to the legislature on teacher education (the SB241 report), and consider other action items.
