UAF to debut new power plant concepts at open house

The University of Alaska Fairbanks will host an open house to gather input on design concepts for its upgraded combined heat and power plant Wednesday, Sept. 17 from 4 – 6 p.m.
The event will take place in the Wood Center multilevel lounge and will allow members of the public and campus community to review and comment on proposed designs for the upgraded plant.
Construction on the project is slated to begin in the spring of 2015, with completion expected during the winter of 2018.
