UAF hosts two First Friday events

The University of Alaska Fairbanks will host two First Friday events Sept. 7 in Fairbanks.
From 5-7 p.m. at the Fairbanks North Star Borough School District Board Room, the UAF School of Natural Resources and Agricultural Sciences will feature illustrated botanical books created by participants in a July workshop. The event will include a hands-on botanical illustration activity.
From 5-8 p.m., the UAF Community and Technical College will host an opening of “Wandering in Fairbanks,” a series of photographs by professor emeritus Stephen Cysewski . The event will take place at the CTC main campus center at 604 Barnette Street.
