The University of Alaska Fairbanks has again been included on U.S. News & World Report’s lists of the best online programs.

UAF earned spots on the following lists for 2019:

  • Best Online Bachelor’s Programs

  • Best Online MBA Programs

  • Best Online Criminal Justice/Criminology Programs (Graduate)

  • Best Online Education Programs (Graduate)

“UAF continues to invest in online programs and services that meet the educational needs of Alaska’s diverse students, including high school students seeking dual credit, military students and working adults with some college but no degree,” said Owen Guthrie, acting director of UAF eCampus. “We are pleased to be recognized again this year for our quality online programs.”

UAF, which has the largest selection of online degrees and the longest-running distance education program in the state, is the only institution in Alaska to make the magazine’s tier-one list.

Within the past year, UAF eCampus has also earned national recognition from Quality Matters, a nonprofit organization recognized as a leader in quality assurance for online education. UAF recently became the fourth university in the nation to earn Quality Matters’ Online Learner Support Certification and the first online special education program in the nation to earn Quality Matters’ Online Program Design Certification.
