UAF researchers appointed to IASC working groups

The International Arctic Science Committee announced the names of the 10 U.S. representatives
appointed to the IASC working groups, chosen through the U.S. National Academies review
process. The appointees include UAF scientists and alumni:
Marine Working Group
- Rolf Gradinger, School of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences
Terrestrial Working Group
- Donald (Skip) Walker, Institute of Arctic Biology
Social and Human Working Group
- Peter Schweitzer, EPSCoR (also a UAF alumnus)
- Sven D. Haakanson, Alutiiq Museum (UAF alumnus)
