Undergrad and graduate scholarships for geospatial sciences

AlaskaView is soliciting applications for scholarships from undergraduate and graduate students to support research in the area of geospatial sciences at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
- Two $500 scholarships for undergraduate students
- One $1,000 scholarship for a graduate student
Any project in the area of geospatial sciences using satellite or airborne remote sensing data, GIS o GPS vector data and tools, and spatial analysis is eligible for this scholarship. Scholarship recipients will be selected based on the relevance, broader impact, and merit of their research abstracts.
Apply online by Friday, Nov. 13. The scholarship decision will be announced by Nov. 20. The scholarship amounts will be added to recipients' UAOnline accounts for fall 2020.
The scholarship recipients will be required to submit a brief, one-page report highlighting their project outcomes by April 15, 2021.
