URSA student funding opportunities for travel, projects

The office of Undergraduate Research and Scholarly Activity is accepting applications from full-time undergraduate students for two funding opportunities.

Students wishing to travel between January and March 2018 to present their work at a conference, meeting or congregation of their peers and professionals in their respective field may apply for up to $2,000. The deadline to apply is Nov. 12, 2017.

Students interested in conducting research or creative projects during the spring semester 2018 may apply for up to $2,500. This funding may be used to cover a stipend, tuition, travel, services and supplies. The deadline to apply is Nov. 19, 2017.

Students must be enrolled full-time at UAF and may not be on probation. All applications require support from a faculty mentor. Find details and the online applications here.
