Utilities maintenance work Aug. 4-11

UAF Utilities will be doing required maintenance work on the electrical connection with GVEA Aug. 4-11. The work includes the main transformer and tap changer. During this time UAF will not have a connection with GVEA, and UAF Utilities will be providing all all power to the Fairbanks campus.

Campus users should not notice any difference; however, contingency plans are in place to address unforeseen issues, including the possibility of temporary interruptions to service.

This work will take place August  4-11.
