Victoria Smith hired as director of Student Support Services

Victoria Smith has been named the new director of the Student Support Services office.

Smith began working at UAF as a student employee in fall 2011 while pursuing an undergraduate degree in history. She will complete a master's degree in Arctic and Northern studies this summer, with a focus on cultural history and higher education in the Pacific Northwest.

Smith joined the TRiO Student Support Services team in 2012. SSS helps first-generation, limited-income and disabled students work toward their educational goals.
