Volunteers can talk careers and read with kids

The UAF Financial Aid Office is hosting the I Know I Can program in Fairbanks. Volunteers are needed to visit local second-grade classrooms to read books and talk about their careers. Volunteers will help kids think about what careers will interest them.

The office seeks volunteers at the following elementary schools for the specified dates and times:

Oct 28, 1-2 p.m., North Pole

Nov 9, 2:10-3:10 p.m., University Park

Nov 13, 2-3 p.m., Two Rivers

Nov 16, 2-3 p.m., Anne Wien
