Week's events: Stress management, Interior gardening, bagpipe tunes

University of Alaska Fairbanks Summer Sessions and Lifelong Learning is hosting more
than 40 free lectures, concerts and other events this summer. Here is what’s happening
during the week ahead:
- On Tuesday, May 29, the Healthy Living lecture series will feature stress management consultant and coach Mike Bork discussing “Stress and the Balloon Animal.” The lecture will be at 7 p.m. at the Murie Building auditorium.
- On Wednesday, May 30, the Discover Alaska lecture series will present master gardener Terry Reichardt on “30-Plus Years of Gardening in the Interior.” The lecture will be at 7 p.m. at the Murie Building auditorium.
- On Thursday, May 31, the Music in the Garden concert series will host the Red Hackle Pipe Band, featuring Highland pipes, drums and dance. Music begins at 7 p.m. at the Georgeson Botanical Garden.
