West Ridge hosting First Friday holiday open house

The University of Alaska Fairbanks will host a West Ridge holiday open house and First Friday event Dec. 6 from 2-6 p.m. in the Elvey and Akasofu buildings.
The event will include representatives from the Geophysical Institute, Alaska Sea Grant, International Arctic Research Center, Large Animal Research Station and Alaska EPSCoR. It will feature refreshments, giveaways and door prizes, tours, and sales on books, clothing, maps, qiviut and a wide variety of gift items.
The event is free and open to the public.
