Gretel Ehrlich to teach wilderness writing at Coal Creek

Erlich Award-winning author Gretel Ehrlich will teach a non-credit course on wilderness writing through UAF Summer Sessions in July. Ehrlich has published numerous books and essays, been a National Public Radio correspondent and traveled widely in the Arctic.

Wilderness Writing at Coal Creek will be conducted July 6-10 at Slaven's Roadhouse in the Yukon-Charley Rivers National Preserve.  The course provides an insight into the transition between field notes and a finished essay or poem. The course fee includes food, lodging in bunkhouse and transportation to the course site by boat from Eagle.
