Workshop will teach science students how to publish

Science students can attend a free online workshop, "Tips and Techniques: How To Get Successfully Published," on Friday, Oct. 2, at noon.

The workshop, offered by the UAF Rasmuson Library and Elsevier Publishing, is for students in scientific disciplines who are interested in getting their research published.

Topics will include:


  • Use of analytic tools to gauge publication reach.

  • Goals for successful peer review.

  • Techniques to ensure easy submission to the editor.

  • Tips on how to achieve publishing success.


The Zoom recording will be made available for registered participants after the workshop.

Attend the workshop and you will be entered into a gift certificate drawing for a drink or treat at one of the coffee shops on campus. You must attend the orientation to be eligible for the drawing.
