Award-winning author Alan Heathcock will give a free public reading of selections from his short-story collection Friday, Feb. 1 at 7 p.m. in the Wood Center Ballroom.

The reading is sponsored by the UAF English Department and is part of the Midnight Sun Visiting Writers Series.
