Canvas orientation for staff

Staff members who provide support services to UAF students are invited to an orientation to answer general questions students may have about the Canvas learning management system. The session is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 16, from 1-2:30 p.m. and will cover Canvas basics and content including:

• Why are we moving to Canvas?
• What Canvas looks like for students
• How do students access help for Canvas?
• Things to watch out for during transition, especially with Banner.

There will be time for a Q&A after the presentation. This session is open to all UAF staff such as academic advisors, student success specialists and anyone who often finds themselves helping students.
